Greetings!
This is a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson below. Even though I think there's much more to success than this, I think it's a great starting point! Enjoy your day!!
To laugh often and much,
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children,
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends,
To appreciate beauty,
To find the best in others,
To leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition,
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived,
This is to have succeeded.

LIVE YOUR LIFE
Greetings!
When you were born you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.....
When you were born you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.....

DAILY GRATITUDE
Greetings!
Here is another short but poetic version of yesterday's message.......
Abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives.
When we choose not to focus on what is missing but on the abundance that's present -- love, health, family, friends, work -- the wasteland of misery falls away and we experience daily joy...
Enjoy your day of being grateful for all you are blessed with!

NEW PERSPECTIVE
Greetings!
This is a great way to change your perspective on life....I have done it and it's a wonderful way to live each day!
Wake up each morning by making a list of all the things that are good in your life, all the things you are grateful for. You can make a mental list, or write it down in a "Things I am Grateful For" journal...or you can thank God for all these blessings He has always given you...
Here is an example of some things I am grateful for:
My good health, I can see, hear, smell, taste, breathe, walk, dance, swim...
People in my life, great parents & sisters, loving husband, wonderful children, precious granddaughter, pastors...
Free country to live in, beautiful earth to live on, lovely sights to enjoy each day, sunsets, moonlight, ocean...
Income to provide for our family, car to get around in, never having to go hungry or thirsty...
I am also thankful for what may seem like everyday little things, like when our family's schedules permit us to actually all sit down to dinner together, or when a work day is rough and then someone makes you laugh and brightens your whole day...
Many times, even when I am going through a trial or difficult time, I try to be thankful for it. Because I know I will grow and learn from it and God will bring me through it.
If you do this each day, I guarantee that the list will grow longer everyday and soon you won't even remember the things that used to get you down...when you focus on the positive, you cancel out the negative!
When you use all your time and energy being thankful, worry and stress don't fit into your schedule anymore!
Looking at life through thankful eyes seriously changes the way you see things...you will find that there's not much that can get you down anymore!
Enjoy your day and be thankful for all you have been blessed with!

CARPE DIEM! (Seize The Day)
Today is a new day...brand new and all for you!!
What are you going to do with it? Seize it! Take hold of it and make the most of it!
It's a precious gift...you get to start all over...forget about yesterday and begin anew!
Make improvements...attitude, outlook, relationships
Start new projects...
Work on your list of things to do...
Stop and smell the roses, roll in the grass, listen to the ocean...
You cannot control tomorrow, so why worry about it?
Yesterday is gone and it's not coming back, so why dwell on it?
Eleanor Roosevelt wrote:
Yesterday is History
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift...we call it the present!
My wish for you is a great day with a fresh start, clean slate and great attitude!
Enjoy every minute to the fullest!

PROMISE YOURSELF
Promise yourself to be strong, that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything, and make your optimism come true.
To think only the best, to work only the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything, and make your optimism come true.

Introduction

Welcome! This is my first time blogging, so bare with me during my beginnings....
I used to get these daily faxes at work with daily inspirations back in 2001 from a company we worked with and I used to love getting them each morning. I used to keep them and take them home and always wanted to put them together in a some type of publication to share with others....and now I have finally found the format. So that's how this blog is starting....not sure what it will turn into...and I just hope it will bring encouragement, inspiration & hope to people....I know these are things we can never have enough of.
