Greetings!
I received this beautiful message today and thought I would share.
When I meditated on the word Guidance, I kept seeing 'dance' at the end of the word and I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
Both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
Or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.
It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw 'G': I thought of God, followed by 'u' and 'i'. 'God, 'u' and 'i' dance.'
God, You and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life and once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday.
May you abide in God, as God abides in you.
Dance together with God,
Trusting God to lead and to guide you through each season of your life.
And I Hope You Dance!
Have a wonderful day!
God loves you!!

POSITIVE THOUGHTS
Greetings friends and family!!
I found this great message at work and wanted to share it with everyone!
If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.
If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.
He sends your flowers every spring,
and a new sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen.
He could live anywhere in the universe,
and He chose your heart!
What about the Christmas give He sent you in Bethlehem,
not to mention that Friday at Calvary.
Face it, He is crazy about you!
Have a wonderful day!
Jesus loves you!

SIN NO MORE
Greetings!
Oh how it hurts when our children go the wrong way and cause themselves to suffer.
It’s pierces our hearts and causes such pain.
We have showered them with our love and care.
Forgiven them time and time again.
Tried to teach them right from wrong.
Yet they still turn away from us and go astray.
It is during my agonizing over my children, that I realize how painful it must also be for God when we turn from Him and his instruction.
How infinitely more is His love for us….His grace and mercy are abundantly given to us….and yet we still turn from Him daily, through our sin and disobedience.
I feel the pain and it hurts so much….and I can’t even imagine His pain that I cause Him….
I am so much more sorry and eager to repent of my sin, when I realize this.
As Jesus told the women at the well....
John 8:11 - And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." NKJ
In the NIV Bible it is translated as "Now go and leave your life of sin"
When we become a child of God, we are to become a new person, leaving our old ways behind.
My desire is to "sin no more"...and I hope yours is too.
Have a wonderful day!

YOUR VALUE
The Value Is the Owner, by Alan Smith
The story is told of an American tourist in Paris who picked up an
amber necklace in a trinket shop. When he arrived at New York and went through customs he was shocked at the high duty he had to pay for
the necklace. So when he came home, he spoke with a jeweler and the
jeweler told him he would give $25,000 for the necklace. The man was
stunned and suspected that there was a reason for the offer. So he
took the necklace to an expert who appraised it at an astronomical amount.
When he asked the appraiser what made the necklace so valuable, he
told him to look into the magnifying glass and see for himself. When
he placed his eye next to the glass, he saw an inscription which read:
"From Napoleon to Josephine." It was the name on the necklace that
gave it extraordinary worth.
We have no intrinsic value above others -- that is to say, we are not
of great value because of who we are or what we've accomplished. Our
value is determined by the One who made us, bought us, and owns us.
Those of us who are Christians have the name of Christ "stamped" on
our lives to remind us who we are and whose we are. Knowledge of this
truth causes us to rethink what we do with our lives.
Look closely at the inscription on your life.
For example, if you have an old pair of ragged tennis shoes, you may
think nothing of getting out in a muddy garden to do some work. But if
you're wearing an expensive pair of dress shoes, you'll be hesitant to
wear them in the mud. The value of what you're wearing will keep you
from going certain places and doing certain things.
Paul says that's why we as Christians should avoid sexual immorality
(as well as other misuses of the body). If our bodies were of little
value (as some believe), we would think nothing of "dragging them
through the mud." But knowing the value of our bodies, we're forced to
think twice about where we go and what we do. Paul puts it this way:
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body
and in your spirit, which are God's (1 Corinthians 6:20 NKJV).
Look closely at the inscription on your life. You'll notice the name
of the One who bought you and owns you. Your value just went up!

PSALM 139
Greetings!
I read Psalm 139 this week, and found it to be a wonderful description of the intimate relationship between us and our creator and Father in heaven.
And reading it out loud makes it even more moving....
I hope you enjoy it.
Have a wonderful day!!

Psalm 139: 1-18
A psalm of David.
O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my every thought when far away.
You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest.
Every moment you know where I am.
You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD.
You both precede and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to know!
I can never escape from your spirit! I can never get away from your presence!
If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the place of the dead, you are there.
If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.
I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night
but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are both alike to you.
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous – and how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable!
I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up in the morning, you are still with me!

PRAYER WORKS
Greetings friends!
I apologize for being absent lately....I have been very busy!
But trust that my time has been well spent.... diving deep into God's word and growing closer to Him everyday!!
I have shared this message recently with some of my friends and family...but wanted to post it to share with others too.
I keep a journal that I write my prayers in. It contains all the things I pray to God about.
The first thing I do when I pray is praise and thank God...so I have a list of all the things I am thankful for. Then I move on to asking for forgiveness for my sins...and after that, I start asking for help with many situations in my own life and for family and friends I know....among other things.
I originally started the journal to help me to remember all the people and situations I wanted to pray for, since the list is quite long...I wanted to make sure I don't forget anything or anyone...
But recently, I started looking back to the pages when I first started the journal, which was two years ago.....and I discovered a whole new purpose for the journal. As I looked at things I prayed for in 2006, I realized that some of those prayers have been answered! It was amazing!
So this now serves as my record of prayers the Lord has answered....which becomes a testimony to share with others that prayer works!!
Remember, payers are not always answered with "yes", but God always responds to them with the right answer, which is best for His plan for our lives!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. ---- Philippians 4:6
